Allison's old flame, Clay Bicks, appears at her doorstep moments after dying, unaware that he is dead. After coming to grips with his death and the fact that he'll never get to be wih the woman he loved, he decides that he's going to stay in Allison's house so he can be close to her. This obviously doesn't make Joe too happy, and Allison decides that something must be done to get Clay out of her house. Meanwhile, Allison shares an odd series of dreams with Bridgette, except for Bridgette's dreams keep coming to her in the form of cartoons.

Allison and Bridgette continue to have the same odd dreams, as Allison comes closer to figuring out what the dreams mean and how they relate to a series of shootings-killings. Clay continues to hang around in Allison's house, but his purpose eventually becomes clear and Allison's opinion of him changes. Meanwhile, Devalos' health is evaluated after a rush hospital visit and Scanlon's relationship with the mayor's liaison Lynn takes a turn for the worst.

Allison is stuck reliving the same horrible day over and over in her dreams, but finds out that each time she relives that day she finds out more about a potential hostage situation. Meanwhile, a bully is threatening Ariel at school and Joe has a hard time getting affection from Allison.

Allison is surprised to see her old nemesis Dr. Charles Walker, a doctor from the late 1800's who murdered over a dozen of his patients, return to her dreams. She begins to worry that his spirit has returned to inhabit living people in order to continue with his massacring. She worries even more when she meets a young man who very closely resembles Dr. Walker.

Allison starts to see images through a camcorder she bought for Joe's birthday, and suspects that they are related to a murder that may or may not have happened.

Allison starts having visions that go against the findings of a famous FBI Criminal Profiler who has been brought in to help with a potential serial killer case. This causes friction between the two, and the FBI Profiler questions the source of Allison's information. Meanwhile, Marie starts behaving oddly at home, worrying Joe.

Allison and Ariel find the bodies of a dress shop owner and her daughter, triggering dreams of the crime from two different perspectives and revealing two different suspects.

Allison has confusing visions of a young boy named Jimmy trapped in a well while helping Devalos with the investigation of the mysterious death of a well-respected assemblyman. Allison must figure out how the visions of Jimmy relate to those of the assemblyman because her visions of the assemblyman's death alone aren't enough for her to solve his death.

For the first time, a ghost tells Allison that he does not want her help solving his murder. Unknown to Allison, he refuses her help because he has evil plans in the works.

Allison comes up against a very odd opponent when investigating the case of a young boy who murdered someone. It seems as though his doll urged him to kill, which is creepy even for Allison. Meanwhile, Joe is concerned about his health when a big project deadline is quickly approaching.

Texas Ranger Kenneth Push begins to have dreams about a shocking murder that happened in Phoenix, which brings him back into Allison's life. Meanwhile Joe tells a lie which ends up getting him caught in an embarrassing moment.

Allison is convinced that she is a woman named Sandra after she wakes up from one of her dreams. Struggling with the situation, Joe decides to ask Scanlon for help when Allison doesn't come to her senses. Also, Bridgette has much to look forward to when Valentine's Day arrives.

Allison has a terrible dream about Marie, learning that she is going to die from leukemia in 20 years. Upon waking up, Allison can't stop thinking about how true her dream might just be. Also, Scanlon investigates the sudden death of one of his friends.

Allison is in great danger after the psychic S.O.S. serial killer, who Allison helped to capture last year, escapes from prison and is looking for revenge on her.

Allison awakens in the past, back when she was a teenager living with her mom, and back when she was struggling with her special abilities. Young Allison dreams of her future with her family, along with a meeting with the boy next door. This helps Allison to solve a present-day crime that involves a young girl.

Allison has dreams about a young woman who is seemingly possessed by a demon. These dreams may be helpful to Devalos, who is investigating the death of a close friend. Meanwhile Joe talks to his boss about leading the next big project at work.

Following uneasy feelings by both Allison and Ariel, Joe is caught in a life-or-death situation at work when a co-worker comes in and kills one of his colleagues then forces Joe and his fellow workers into a high-stakes hostage situation.

Allison investigates the case of a woman whose husband was murdered. Meanwhile, her brother Michael gets a job as a telephone hotline psychic that leads him to visit a distressed customer in Arizona - the same customer whose case Allison is investigating.

Allison experiences reoccuring dreams involving being out in the snow and finding a young woman's body. Meanwhile, Joe heads back to work for the first time since the shooting.

Allison’s dreams continue despite helping convince the jury of the suspected killer’s guilt. Meanwhile, Joe has difficulty talking to Allison about the emotions he’s feeling about the murder-hostage situation he lived through at work.

Allison continues to try and stop the Re-Capitator, while dealing with the fact that her new friend Debra may be his next victim. Meanwhile Joe is contacted by a lawyer who offers him the chance to file a million-dollar lawsuit against his company, and D.A. Devalos must deal with a hostile press.

This is the season finale and it leaves the world turned upside down for the DuBois family. Allison’s secret is out, Joe has been fired, Devalos is in disgrace and Scanlon’s future is looking non-too shiny. In the event, Allison’s final victory is a hollow one. The whodunit of the plot isn’t too hard to work out, but the how to prove it part is.
