Season Two of the ghost-wrangling, crime-busting show opens with an episode that ties up the plot that provided the climactic cliffhanger to Season 1. It's more police procedural than anything else, visits from the coma victim's dead father notwithstanding. True, the main clue as to the identity of the killer comes from a dream, but everything else, the investigation and the sting to catch that person, is pure cop show.

Allison literally gets a song stuck in her head and has no idea what's happening to her, until she realizes that the song is actually guiding her to the location of a missing student.

A change of tack and a welcome one as the loop between Allison and the woman in the fifties is both spooky and intriguing. The resolution is simple enough and a little predictable, but satisfying. While Capt. Push lingers between life and death, Allison struggles to decipher confusing messages from the other side in an attempt to stop a serial killer before he claims his next victim.

allison's dreams turn into sleepwalking, sleepwalking into the middle of a highway, sleepwalking into the bank to withdraw a large amount of money and eventually sleepwalking to the crashed car of a millionaire who disappeared with his son. Forget the story about the kidnapped kid and the dead millionaire, this episode is all about the effect on the family of drink.

Allison has dreams of herself back when she was 17 years old. Her long-lost best friend keeps appearing in these dreams, but Allison has trouble finding a connection between these dreams and a case she's working on involving the disappearance of a politician's teenage daughter.

Allison has terrifying dreams about a massacre at D.A. Devalos' office that kills him, along with a handful of her co-workers. Of course Devalos doesn't believe the dream will come true, and Allison must use the clues from her dreams to figure out what they really mean.

Joe is chosen to be part of a jury that is deciding the fate of a man who is showing up in Allison's dreams, giving Allison much difficulty in trying to figure out why this man keeps showing up in her dreams.

Allison has a vision that could jeopardize D.A. Devalos' future, as well as her own, while Devalos is running for re-election. Meanwhile, Joe runs into an old girlfriend from college who wants to catch up with him, but discovers that she wants more than just a renewed friendship.

In an episode filmed partly in 3-D and introduced by Rod Serling via digitally manipulated images, Allison investigates when a bloody murder scene is discovered in a park restroom, but no body is found. She uncovers clues to the crime by looking into the paintings of an enigmatic artist, who may be harboring a dark secret.

Allison is called to help investigate when a troubled woman who believes that her house is being haunted turns up dead.

Allison has disturbing visions of herself inside the mind of a psychotic murderer who finds young women to use as human canvasses for his scalpel art. When Allison literally can't get the murderer out of her head and starts to act strangely, Joe gets worried about the safety of his daughters and must protect them from Allison.

Allison once again encounters the spirit of the psychotic doctor who was responsible for the murders of 14 young girls, and must once again try to stop him from claiming any more victims. This time Allison has reason to believe that the doctor is going after her daughter Ariel. Desperate to keep her daughter safe, Allison will do anything, even break the law.

Allison helps to locate a missing child, but then has a terribly upsetting vision showing her the horrible things the child will do in the future. When Allison discovers the identity of the child's kidnapper, she has trouble deciding whether or not to try to put said kidnapper in jail. If she lets the kidnapper go, the child's life will once again be in danger, but if she convicts the kidnapper, the child might commit horrible crimes himself in the future.

Joe makes Allison get an MRI after she slips in the bathroom and suffers a concussion. Allison meets a seemingly kind patient David at the doctor's office, but then has visions of him murdering several women while she watches him get his MRI. Allison is confused by her visions because David seems like such a nice guy, but she's sure that he's the killer she saw in her visions. Meanwhile, the results of Allison's MRI show an abnormality in her brain, one which Joe thinks may be an explanation for her visions. Joe convinces Allison to let him test Ariel and Bridget to see if they have the same abnormality.

Allison's ability to stay impartial about a case is jeopardized when she develops strong maternal feelings for the teenage boy in the case who was accused of murdering his former boss. Elsewhere, Joe tries to figure out how to tell Bridget that the stray dog she brought home doesn't have much longer to live.

The brother of a good friend of D.A. Devalos goes missing and Allison is asked to help find him. After beginning her mission to help save the missing brother, Allison starts having strange spells of paranoia and delusional encounters with government agents who are trying to stop terrorism. Meanwhile, Joe becomes concerned when Bridget seems to be talking to the dead author of her favorite book.

Allison has a dream that her brother Michael is involved in a bank robbery in town, only to have him unexpectedly show up in town shortly afterwards. Michael starts dealing with a mysterious woman who Allison thinks might have talked him into being involved in the bank robbery, which makes Allison even more suspicious of her brother.

Allison has dreams about several women prior to their murders, at first thinking that the murders are unrelated, but then finding out that all the murders were committed by the same man. Allison must find the killer before he can claim his next victim, but gets a scare when the situation comes a little too close to home. Meanwhile, Bridgette has to prepare for a class presentation on what her parents do for a living, and runs into a problem when trying to describe Allison's career.

The discovery of three dead bodies points to a drug cover-up. Scanlon investigates the case, putting his previous experience in undercover drug work to use. Meanwhile, Allison has odd dreams of Scanlon's past. She at first puts these dreams off, thinking that they couldn't possibly be true, but begins to find out otherwise. Also Arielle must confront a teacher about a grade she received on a presentation, but not because she thinks it was too low, but because she thinks it was too high.

Allison has visions of a man breaking into a woman's home, but for the sole purpose of stealing a kiss from her. Confused, Allison further explores the meaning of her visions, becoming convinced that Kathleen, the woman from the visions, is in danger.

Allison investigates the death of a local physician. She starts seeing a man in her visions whom she belives to be the Angel of Death, and after a near-death experience, she is convinced that Death is after her. After seeing a man on a sign who looks exactly like Death from her dream, Allison further investigates and finds that this man is tied to the physician's death, compelling her to figure out what it is exactly that Death wants from her.

Allison's grandmother turns up in a dream about a day that changed Allison's life. Whilst in reality she finds her life unravelling as she loses her job and the public become aware of her abilities, her dreams tell the story of what her life would have been like had she gone on to become an expensive lawyer.
